This is spectacular. While I was organizing these fics I was just jumping around in joy for Beck. This is everything that she loves and it's everything she could have wanted.

It was so great, even though I know nothing about the Saints. Brad was all awkward and unsure of himself and it was so precious. I just wanted to wrap him up in my love and keep him forever. You wrote the boys so well and so authentically. It really felt like they were themselves. I enjoyed this so much.

This was a beaut! All the banter was awesome and the slow build. And you translated the boys so well so they worked amazingly in the setting. Such a great read! I'm smiling so much and I'd kill to see the Brad&Ray goon of fortune "nostalgia" game. So messy!

Also now I know that such a thing as the Australian Sex Party exists. So that's good. <33

YESSSSS SOMEONE GOT THE MISSY HIGGINS REFERENCE!! I am so happy. I was trying to come up with the most obnoxiously overplayed song I could, and for a while there it was going to be Alex Lloyd's Amazing. But even his lyrics were too boring, ugh.

I'm so glad you liked it! :D GREATEST HITS OF OUR COUNTRY is everything I ever dreamed this fic could be. CANON BRAD LISTENS TO BARRY MANILOW, OBVIOUSLY JOHN FARNHAM IS THE ANSWER. Though I bet Brad has a secret soft spot for, like, Midnight Oil because of his environmentalist-hippie bleeding heart parents, and sometimes he listens to them even though it makes his Liberal little heart all dirty. (GOD BRAD'S POLITICS ARE EVEN MORE UPSETTING IN THIS FIC, WHERE YOU KNOW HE WOULD HAVE VOTED FOR HOWARD. I'M SORRY I EVEN STARTED TALKING ABOUT THIS NOW.)

OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING. I AM IN LOVE. SO IN LOVE.

Seriously, this is - beyond anything I'd hoped or expected. I honestly jumped off my couch and bounced around the room in joy when I read the summery. So, so happy. AND THEN I READ THE FIC! :D

Okay, to start with - SOGOOD. Just in general, I loved it, it was well written and clever and funny and authentic. i loved the boys - Aussie Brad and Ray were SO PERFECT. You just nailed their characters onto our landscape and made it WORK. Oh god. And the romance, and Brad being unsure about being gay in the AFL and Ray being amazed that Brad's into him. Oh, OH BOYS.

AND NOW THE BIT WHERE I QUOTE BITS AT YOU AND GO LIKE THIS <3 <3 <3 A LOT.

The team pours out onto the oval and Brad is in the middle of them, feet pounding down against the grass in a sea of red, white, black.

Oh my god, thank you so much! (I'm so, so sorry for the late reply on this, aaah I'm the worst.) But I'm so, so happy you liked this, as soon as I got the idea (AT MY FIRST EVER AFL GAME, AS SOON AS I REALISED ALL THE PLAYERS WERE REALLY HOTBUILT LIKE BRAD) and then got assigned to you I knew I had to write it, but I really, really worried that I was going to fuck it up from not knowing enough about AFL or Melbourne.
