[It's late in the evening when Zelos finally comes to in the tunnels after having his penalty removed. Somehow, he makes his way out of that, but he's queasy as all hell by the time he's on the surface. He probably doesn't notice his journal hitting the ground and opening when he hunches over to vomit.
