I hadn't heard of this novel before, but it sounds really awesome - I'm going to have to find it next time I'm in a bookstore. And I would definitely go see this movie, and not just for Nimoy. :D

I can't recommend it enough. There's a taste of it here, but Chabon's language is so beautiful it alone is almost half the reason to read it.

OOOOH, AWESOME CASTING\! I absolutely loved that book (even if I liked Kavalier & Clay best, out of Chabon's stuff, but this is totally awesome too) and your casting is so good! Especially Adrien Brody and Richard Dreyfuss, and James Franco, too. I hadn't thought about Lisa Eldstein as Bina but it so works! But basically, everyone definitely works. This is excellent.

I love Chabon, maybe not this book. I'm still holding out hope for a Kavalier and Clay movie. But I'll definitely watch this. Wonderboys was amazing, hopefully this will be as well.
