Today I actually turned in the job applications instead of stuffing them in my pocket to never be seen again. And then I decided I would much rather volunteer than get a job. And I told my mom and she said no. So something doesn't make sense here. Hmm. I think this is about a little more than just responsibility. The world already knows that

Right on Jen. I usually get applications, shove 'em in my desk and never look at them again until it's time to get the trash out of my room. Yeah...but it's all coming back to me now. Now, I REALLY need a job. As for your madre not letting you volunteer, you might want to throw in her face that I'd be a good experience for you. If I were to volunteer I'd try the homeless shelters, I've done work at the one in Nipples when I was in highschool for journalisim. Let me tell you, you'll walk out of the place with TONS of stories and a large impact.
