san diego fire paralyzed orange haze, more brown haze, more bronze haze, more crayola burnt siena haze, more gray ash. Fires in California are scary, dangerous, and no good. You know I don't really pray but with all that has been going on I have tried to. Leave it to Jeska Lin (in the midst of the fire) to see the positive side of things: i.e.: things are worse in Iraq. Jes, your optimism and intelligence and perspective are beyond admirable. Stay safe and call me if things get bad or worse. I hope that when the fires are gone, we will have learned something from it all. Good luck!
