....is the movie i just caught the tail end of on turner classic movies. there's a few great scenes at the end that are filmed around santa monica, like where the california incline goes from near third street promenade down to pch. it's amazing how undeveloped the beach was back then. anyways, it was nice to see california, even if only on

California misses you, too :) The cure for your L.A. homesick blues is to make the 3000+ mile trek back here, my friend! Just returned from my odyssey to La Segunda Isla de Wepa with the Ferragamo twins, and I'm feeling as if everything just locked into place. (Stay tuned for the entry and pics.) Perhaps a return to the west might have the same effect on you?

The real reason that I'm popping up here has to do with your treasured CDs that went MIA. I found a great little independent music store on St. Mark's Place in the Village that you may or may not know about. Lo and behold, they have a website (which is temporarily down). They might have what you're looking for. Not sure whether you can order from the site, but at the very least it's worth a trip the next time you head over to NYC to visit your bro.
