This weekend, I encountered an extremely absurd sequence of bad luck.  In fact, this might be the worst I've so far encountered.

i left my cell phone in a cab once after taking a ride to work - had to call the yellow cab offices from work, to simply have them say "it's not in the lost in found. do you want us to find the driver you had?" um, yeah. then they tell me he'll call me when they find out who he is - and he does, says, "you want me to come bring it to you?" and i say, "yes, oh, that would be so great!" and he says, "i'm in the central district. i will start the meter now." 25 dollars later, i decided that i was going to get a fucking car as soon as fucking possible.

that was fun.

The main room (living room, I guess) had an alcove about 10 ft deep (almost a dead-end hallway, actually) that housed a minifridge and a sink.
