I think I've decided that anarchism cant work* unless a "post apocalypse" scenario unfolds (capitalism collapses, natural disaster destroys government, robots rise against humans).
And since I havent identified as an anarchist in a while I might identify as some sort of "Post Apoc Hopefulist".

*Exept on small or individual levels.

totally agree. i have been thinking this a lot lately. situation in culture/society somehow still is not urgent or fucked up enough for people++ to come together and build that kind of community for real, or in a way where is it in order to survive/maintain freedom.

until then it's just kinda like a mime.

I just dont believe it can happen without something destroying most of capitalism. And in turn, also destroying a large part of the population. No one wants to give up their cushy lifestyle. And it's hard to escape capitalism when living within a capitalist state. So I just dont believe this "when the revolution..." or "when everyone becomes enlightened". I mean, we all got our opinions on this stuff. I just dont think its going to happen till something takes it away.
