So I was in Vegas. This post could become quite long, so I will attempt to be brief.

Wednesday night I stayed at my parents house because the In N Out Arizona Softball Tournament was starting at 8am at the ballpark behind waterworld so I would be conveniently located. I had time to play in our team's first game and we won 26-6, SHWEET! I had to leave after the first game cuz I was going to Vegas with Gary and his mom. I hated to leave cuz I was having so much fun playing slow-pitch softball. Anyway, we drove up to Vegas and checked in at the Excalibur and did some walking about Later, Gary and I had tickets to go see the Broadway play SPAMalot. It is a musical about the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Naturally, I loved it. I love the movie, and the play did not dissapoint. Costuming and set-changes were great, not to mention the hilarious actors. After this, we walked to the Stratosphere and saw a topless show. We were in Vegas so we figured why not? It was an actual show, not lap-dances and dollars in G-strings, but a very very very poorly written show about vampires, random acrobatic sequences, and a man with paulsy who could have been from American Idol. I was bored out of my mind, and the worst part was that they kept putting their tops back on. It is a topless show! let them be free!

Next day, We went to this thing called Tournament of Kings. It was this underground arena surrounded by seating with built-in tables so we ate like medieval kings while we watched the jousting and sword-fighting which was actually pretty intense. That night we went to a hypnotist show. Let me start by saying hypnotism is not what you think it is. It is a dazed, dreamy state where your brain acts on impulse, then you check yourself and decide whether you are willing to do what just popped into your head. I can say this because Gary and I were volunteers who stayed on stage the entire show pretending the be in a deep trance. We did lots of silly things like dancing the river dance, posing for swimsuit photo shoots and making love to plastic, blow-up dolls. The latter of those resulted in me being shirtless...

Friday morning we did our souvenir shopping. I got a shirt, a shot glass, and a beer mug. Then we made the long drive home and here I am. Whoopee!
