My Impressions of 「Generation Ex」
I'm really impressed with this new GENERATIONS' album, Generation Ex.
About the packaging design
Okay, this is my first time buying Gene's album and I'm satisfied! xD
The first time I saw my package, I was suprised cause the box was quite big!
Then, I brutally opened the box, unwrapped the seal, and got the album on my hand.
This is how the album looks like ↓
It also came with a promotional poster :D
I opened it and wow, it's amazing, really, it's perfect.
Their booklet is big and thick and nice and cool and... perfect.
I'm out of words to describe their album. The album totally worth it!

The first page has Alan on it :3
The booklet layout is more or less like this, left page for the lyrics and right page for the photo
Ryuto looks so cool here (/// v ///)
The pages between the lyrics are like pictures above
They also have shots in casual clothes! (and Mendy is topless! haha) xD
I love every photo, especially these two! Ryota's smile and Hayato's profile! ♥

Don't mind the pictures quality, okay? ;)
I didn't take everything, but you can see how adorable the booklet is X)
For me, the most impressive part is the booklet tho, it has 60 pages!!
Like... that's too cool to be a bonus xD
or I could say Johnnys should pay more attention to the quality of their bonuses. lol
It's not a booklet, it's more likely a photobook!
The CD cover and case are also cool!
The booklet and CD case are attached on one book as a whole.
Senpai I admire in the fandom (www :3) said that the packaging style for their first album was the same, I wanted to buy it, but when I checked a few online stores, the booklet is no longer available cause it was only for the first-press edition. Too bad...
Only if I had known Gene at that time Orz
But I'm happy I know them already now :D
About the content
Gene's songs are always nice, seriously.
There are 13 songs in the album and every song is refreshing, light, and also energetic.
Besides the previously released songs in singles, there are 7 new songs.
My first favorite between those 7 so far is "Make It Real" and the second is "I Remember".
"Everlasting" is also nice! Basically, I just like every song.
And the last is about the documentary video. I can't say a lot about this though.
This is touching and inspiring, I can't even describe it with my limited vocabulary XD
The video shows how much they work hard for everything.
It features member interviews, something they got to do, like fan meets/performance in Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, recording, training, music clip shooting, photobook shooting, and others.
This video is just really great!
They never failed to make me think that I'm still nothing and I need to work hard to get anything I want.
Just by watching it, you will find out how passionate they are.
Do watch it, it worth your time :)
