how old is it? Ive had mine for about 5 years I think and only the pockets have gone.

Lets see... 6 years. Vigourous dancing, no washing or leather care products ever, I am not too surprised to be honest. My first pair of leather trousers lasted about 6 months before they ripped, not really up scratch though my new pair which I got from a biker shop rather than leather shop have lasted much better and are generally made of sterner stuff.

your supposed to wash leather? I only tried to wash my gloves once as they were covered in blood, but they ended up just going hard and fucked up so I chucked them.

You can dry clean them I think or wipe them down with a damp cloth. I recently bought some leather cleaner liquid which you rub into it like moisturising lotion, not sure how effective it will be though.
