I really should update this thing more often....sorry LJ!!! This week was pretty laid back after I finished my two papers and resume. I'm applying for the nerdiest job of all time: science camp counsellor at the discovery centre. And I'm so excited for it! I want it so much

Remember when she's thinking about getting serious with alec, and she says something like "it's too early in the relationship to ask these questions, but it's too late in my life to not ask them"? That always made me so sad...
I guess my point is, I really believe you never know how your life is going to turn out (which is not a bad thing). I mean, haven't there been many things just in the last 3 years that have completely surprised you?

P.S. Science camp counsellor sounds like an awesome job! I hope you get it. :) Is it full-time? 4 months? (ie. What are your plans for the summer?)

I guess I have been surprised by a lot of things now that you mention it (thanks Yan!). I definatly feel like I'm not the same person that I was in high school.
Science camp counsellor!! At discovery centre!! (I still have to apply and all :)). It's only for two months (july & august). I'll just be working at Dalplex until Active Kid's ends, and probably doing a little lifeguarding. What are your summer plans?

I will hopefully be working in my lab for the whole 4 months (assuming I can get one of the grants/studentships/ANYTHING I applied for). I also have a smaller job that will extend into the first month or so. I may have to take a summer course (I really hope not, but it's looking more and more likely...damn). Also, I planned to take the GRE, but we'll see. And, I really want to go to Paris, since I didn't get to last summer (remember when I was debating btw Paris and NYC?) But THAT is on the backest of back burners. :S
