Edmonton Adventures...a pic laden post
It's exam time so I'm living off of peanut butter toast and fear. And procrastination.
This is shortly after we moved here, that's my building! It's owned by an evil building company, but so far we haven't had any problems.
We went to fort edmonton park on the last day of the season. It was free so everyone had their kids there.
I think they filmed a Brad Pitt movie here, but I haven't seen it.
We also went to a pre-season Oilers game. This isn't the best pic from that outing but it's the awesomest.
It's the Fanboni! lol.
And then school got in the way, and I didn't really do much of anything. Exciting post eh?
Well we did go to Jasper
It was a beautiful trip, the town was pretty much deserted since it was in between seasons. We did some hiking and there were lots of mountains and elk and goats and things.
Then school got in the way again. I wrote Christmas exams. I was freaking out. If only I could go back and tell myself that the worst was yet to come!
Before we went home Adrian and I had our own Christmas.
Dollar stores have awesome Christmas decorations!
Then I flew home for Christmas. No pictures! It was a whirlwind, several people were upset with me for not seeing them. I'm sorry! I had less then two weeks :(
Then we came back to Edmonton and things got crazy. School was insane, all the profs seemed to think that we had all figured this law thing out and so the pace really picked up.
February break was really nice this year. I spent a lot of time in the library (yay!) but Adrian's mom came to visit so we did some fun things to.
We went to Banff
We also went skiing. I hate skiing, I don't understand how anyone could possibly find that sport enjoyable.
Then school started up again time for.....the dreaded moot!
It was actually pretty awful. Blargh, I never want to be a litigator!!
Then it was Easter time, Adrian and I made a nice Easter Dinner for two!
Then I went to visit my friend Heather in Calgary and we went to the zoo
Hippos!!
And now it's exam time, so my apartment looks like this:
Papers strewn everywhere....empty pop bottles, stacks of random dvds for procrastination purposes. Sounds about right.
It was +20 degrees outside last weekend, but right now it looks like this:
Yay Spring!!!
