Today I had coffee with the girl who runs the Bible Study group that I've been going to. I applied to some schools for engineering. Sometimes I wonder about my thought process. I was a chem major for 1 summer + 2 weeks. I finally switched to physiology after my first encounter with analytical lab. (Well that's not the only reason, but I like that story) I have gotten here through a strange zig zag path. But I love my program now. I love it. There are many, many disciplines you could do, not just The One You Should Be In, or so I think anyway. I used to think my choice was very random too, but how else do you make a decision? In my case I just realized I was comparing myself to some makeshift standard that only existed in my head.

P.S. Switch to physiology.

Yeah I agree, I think I've given up on the notion that there is one thing I'm meant to do. But as for switching to physiology I'm not so sure :). Maybe I'll take some physiology courses next year (they're optional in my degree program).
