Things have slowed down a bit. I nearly wrote "slown down." Let's chalk that up to beer and exhaustion on a nearly empty stomach. Today I slept in until 11. It was nice to finally shake off the tiny bits of fatigue that I'd gathered over the course of the weekend. It was a good fatigue, though, and if I could have Katie around every day I'd welcome the exhaustion. Today has been a good day. One of my Lenten practices has been to wake up early and only allow myself to sleep in on weekends. I hope this will continue beyond Easter. It forces me to be a better manager of my time (so I go to bed at a reasonable hour). It is only 10:00am but I feel very accomplished ( Read more... )

So now we have Rockband 2 in the House. I bought it last night. We played for several hours, taking turns on the different instruments. It's great... a lot of fun and a definite party game. I have not yet tried the singing part (since I am not much of a singer) but I have been getting consistently above 90% on the guitar or bass parts. Those of you ( Read more... )
