If you pour milk into hot chocolate it gets colder.

i do that! see, i have a routine: boil water, pour in mug, add 2 packets of chocolate, pour in yummy coffee stuff, pour in milk, test temperature...if too hot put in fridge if too cold put in microwave

What I usually do is microwave milk then pour the hot chocolate in, it tastes much better than with boiled water, then, if it's too cold, I pour in more milk.
