Okay so I really need to do a real update because I am way behind and it is so not cool. Sadly I don't really have that much time at the moment and am just going to right a quick post to keep everyone up to date on what going on

I am soooo with you on wanting a MacBook. But just think how much better the next generation of MacBook will be. Or how the older one will be cheaper when the newer one comes out. :) And they still haven't gotten around to putting the 64-bit Intel chips (Xeon) into Mac desktop boxes, yet. And then, there's Leopard (OSX 10.5).
Also Daddy and I got iWork which is a combination of two programs called "Pages" and "Keynote," they are pretty much Mac's answer to Word and Powerpoint. But this means that I get to cut all ties from Microsoft and don't have to deal with the king of crashing programs (aka Word, I have lost around 30 or 40 pages of work to messed up word stuff).
Yeah, Word doesn't do too well with longer docs. I ♥ FrameMaker. Another alternative to cutting all ties with Microsoft (but much uglier than iWorks) would be OpenOffice (NeoOffice on the Mac). It's free, and can create files in the Office formats, and has apps that mimic the entire Offfice Suite, including Excel and Access. You may want to wait for the Aqua

I do that all the time. And yay! Final Cut Pro, and yay Daddy's discount! You'll love FCP--you get much more control over editing video/audio than iMovie gives you.
