[yesterday Chrome sent Mukurou out to give homemade chocolates to everyone she's talked to. Everyone. No, seriously if you've ever talked to Chrome before, you got chocolates. This includes the girls as well, because they're friends okay. This also includes people like Raidou and Zombie

[Oh. Joy. He always wanted chocolate. As loathe as he was to thank such a girl, he wasn't against contacting her again. It was an easy way to keep up with Ciel. He hadn't expected to see her looking so angry. He mustered as much sympathy as he could gather and puts on a show for her.]

Is there something troubling you, my lady? [Oh she didn't want him to call her that? Too bad~.]

[Her gaze is sharp, frown twisting her mouth. She doesn't even blush or stammer]

[She pauses to set the communicator on a stump, so she can pace while she talks and not worry about dropping it or anything. And guess what Alois, just for you she's wearing that midriff bearing top and super short skirt with the boots just for you. And boy does this chick like skull decorations.]

[She'd robbed him of his fun. Alois pouts, obviously discontent with this behavior.]

[Her fingers loosen and she smooths it out, turning to look at him] You're in town? I wouldn't mind seeing you. [Even though Sebastian would kill her for such a thing]

[She may as well had been speaking in tongues for all the sense she made. Alois considered her words carefully. Sebastian was no doubt nearby, and where Sebastian was Ciel was bound to follow. Having them see him as unprepared as he was would not have gone well. Yet, how often was it that he would get a sliver of a chance of speaking to this girl. He weighed his options carefully before gracing her with a smile.]

I wouldn't mind seeing you as well. Say, we should meet up some place and have a talk. Wouldn't that be grand?

[She should probably be heeding Sebastian's warnings to her, but Chrome, despite being only 14, was strong in her own right. Even without her illusionary powers, she was still a fighter and could probably kick Alois' ass with very little effort.

At least that's what she tells herself for assurance]

[She probably could, if she could predict how unpredictable he'd be. ...And he's still tried from all the walking and the weather and the training...

[She blushes a little at that, but nods]

I'll be there shortly. [She shuts the video off then and goes to find the building. When she finds it, she just sort of loiters around it, looking for the taller blonde.

The wind blows and she shivers a little, wishing she'd remembered to change out of her normal uniform and into the warmer clothing Sebastian had bought her]

[He considers for a moment to abandon the young girl. The sort of information she would know about Ciel might not have been useful-- what could she have known about the other boy? --but he had already accepted and he would be damned if he didn't see it through to the end.]

[Alois wanders just out of sight before showing himself. He approaches her calmly and bows just slightly. Looking over her choice of clothing, he wouldn't be surprised if she were as cold as he was. Not for the first time he wished he had his coat with him.]

Lady Chrome? You look much more lovely in person.

Action; I WILL SEND YOU BLASTING OFF AGAIN

[She turns on instinct; despite the cold she's clearly got a high amount of self control as she's not even shivering.

Her face turns pink, but that could easily be excused for the cold]

Ah. Hello, Alois-san. You're a little taller than I thought you would be. [Given she's a couple inches shorter than Ciel, but somehow still gives the illusion of being tall and willowy.

Or maybe it's just the legs that stretch on forever]

That man--Julie. I would advise you to please stay away from him. [As dangerous as Sebastian makes him out to be, she still doesn't want to see Alois injured or anything

[He laughs at her, though not unkindly. Her blush has him thinking, but he had no interest in pursuing it for the moment.]

And you're short. [He looked her over, uncaring how obvious he was in his observation.]

Let's talk inside where it's warm. I won't let you stay out here with how little you're wearing. [He opens the door of the building and steps inside, holding the door open for her. The last action was an after thought, a lesson that took a while for him to learn.]

Julie is his name? Never met a bloke with a name like that. [And now he was interested.] What's he look like?

[She tilts her head. Really, Alois? She lives with a guy who says worse things to her on a daily basis] Yes. Comparatively speaking.

[She shouldn't go in, she knows. There's a moment of hesitation when she recalls Sebastian's words but... Well, it is very cold. And he's already holding the door out and all.

So Chrome slips past him with a soft 'thank you']

He's tall, with a goatee. Red hair and glasses... and he normally wears a white hat. [She smooths out her skirt before rubbing lightly at her arms]

[He wasn't aiming to insult her. It was a casual observation. He's tall she's short... she was also very boyish and looked more like a tramp than he did but he's not mentioning it. Yet.]

Ciel is also quite short. He's nothing but a little boy~. [He watches her as she moves, carefully taking in her gait, the way her hair bounced, he watched her as her skirt was crushed against her legs -- he hadn't planned on forgetting her.] How is he, Lady Chrome? And Lady Elizabeth?

[He lets the door close behind them. Luckily, it was only a pokemart and not a more secluded building. The store clerks greeted them warmly before moving onto their other customers.]

A goatee? ...He shouldn't be hard to find. Why not find him before he finds you? That way you're one step ahead of him. And, since you are a companion of Ciel, I wouldn't mind assisting you as well. Wouldn't you like that, dearie?

[Instilled in her by 13 years growing up in Japan, Chrome gives a polite little bow to the shopkeeper as they're greeted, before turning to face Alois. She moves with a fluid grace that comes from years of fighting and being able to execute advanced gymnastic flips and the like.

She tilts her head] They're doing well. Ciel-san and I got our badges not too long ago. Elizabeth is forgoing getting badges.

[Chrome shakes her head] No. The last time I confronted him I was brainwashed, and I'd rather not repeat the experience. If he hurts someone then I'll confront him, but no sooner.

[Her actions made her a curiosity in Alois' eyes. The eerie smile he wore often seemed to have been frozen on his face.]

Oh. And Ciel, have you said anything to him regarding the last time we spoke?

[He grunts and narrows his eyes at her answer. He shouldn't have expected much more than passive behavior from a woman, but he thought she'd be more interesting. Lady Elizabeth hadn't seemed so passive either.]

Waiting and hiding won't stop him from being a threat especially if he's done nothing but hurt you, Lady Chrome.

No, I... I spoke to Sebastian and he urged me not to say anything. He's very intent that I have nothing to do with you.

[She doesn't bother trying to soften her words, because it's the simple, blunt truth of the matter that they probably both know. Sebastian doesn't want Chrome associating with Alois, and Chrome is deliberately defying those orders by being with him here.]

I'm not afraid. [She tilts her head; there's no quiver in her voice; she really isn't afraid at all. Angry that Julie is here, worried about what might happen, but no real fear.] There's nothing here that scares me--I don't fear death, and I'm stronger than I look.

Without our powers here, he is a mere human. And I... hopefully my training has prepared me enough to fend him off should he decide to attack me, with or without my powers.
