Yes, deep-fried! I felt very ill about three hours after eating the damned thing, but later I apparently developed up a tolerance for it. It was obscenely delicious. Most Southern food is, while also being very, very, incredibly bad for you.

yep - if it's not deep-fried, then why eat it?

Awesome that you both had a good week. Chicken on a Stick sounds really good. I'm going to try to believe you that it is good too, because I went to the state fair and tried the fried oreos and fried twinkies and I was not exactly all that impressed - somehow I felt dirty for eating that stuff, like something wasn't quite right. Maybe I shoulda tried the fried snickers bar.

Just curiously are either of you into either (A) Karaoke or (B) Industrial Music? How about former Fugazi member Ian McKaye's band The Evens? How about blues at cheep saloons? I'm just thinking of all the night-life stuff I'd like to take in but have no partners in crime with which to collaborate....

And in other news, the LJ spellchecker doesn't recognize shoulda, Fugazi, McKaye's, or oreos. Oreos? How about just one oreo? Ahh, the plural form is the problem....
