oh, of course! my name's beth, i'm 19 and in university studying american history, film and literature. i adore fifties make-up, seventies science fiction and illustration. i'm a writer (mainly short stories and bad poems), though i'm beyond terrified of people reading my work. my favourite songs are 'all along the watchtower' by jimi hendrix, and 'friday i'm in love' by the cure. the best books i've read so far are michael cunningham's 'the hours' and audrey niffenegger's 'time traveller's wife', however cliche that might be ♥ i like beaches at night, drinking sangria with friends and dressing up to go to the cinema.

i'm sixteen and live in the states but i'm moving to italy next august. i like writing fiction (mostly novels & poems), thrifting for old things like records and typewriter tape, reading (i also like 'catcher in the rye' & 'alice in wonderland' as well as 'frankenstein,' 'beloved,' & 'the great gatsby,' & 'a moveable feast.' as far as music goes, i like alternative, mostly, with a little rock/pop/classical/bluegrass thrown in. my favorite song right now is 'airplanes' - local natives. i like the abstract & the illogical.
i think that's sufficient :)

Hi, I've stumbled upon your journal as most people do, Through comms and what not. I was wonderiNg if you might want to be friends. I see you ask for a little more than that in an intro, so here goes. I'm not so new to livejournal, buT I've kept to myself for the most part, really. I suFfer from depression of some sort. It's been about four to five years, and that's lead me to not having a Very good reputation on livejournal. I aM trying to heal, and I want to believe it's possible. How's that for an about me? If it's too heavy and creepy, I'll understand. Other than that on livejournal I like roaming through Inspiration and icon comms.
