I wish to limit government, a founding ideal of the Republican party. Dispite conflicting opinions on social issues I feel that this basic principle of a compact government is easiest to maintain "for the people, by the people." Ironically, our current leadership posses seemingly expansionist tendencies of which I disapprove.

The comment made above was more or less sarcasm because I knew the audience to which I was playing.
