Alrighty, so here's the deal. I used to have a Captain Shang apper, so this decision was made in tandem with that person. Unfortunately, it didn't come into being but I liked the agreement so much that I just stuck with it.
Mulan is taken from between the burnt-out village and the Hun fight on the mountain. So, when Mulan comes to Camp, she is still Ping, and she believes she has to be Ping or suffer death. This is the world she comes from. So, what this means for you: She fooled the entire division, so if you're very polite or not as perceptive, my best guess is that you wouldn't know right away. There are a few people I expect to call her out on it. If this is your course of action, that's fine. Half the fun of playing Mulan as Ping is having people discover her identity. I just don't necessarily want it to be a thing where everyone knows right away. Because she did manage to fool a bunch of guys for a very long time, so there has to be something to her act.

ETA: If you think your characters really would know and really would say something, by all means, go ahead! I just didn't want it to be really obvious for everyone, but there are lots of perceptive characters!
