I picture Booster as a night owl, so he sleeps in to all hours of the morning. And at home Skeets has to wake him up and he hates it. At camp, I think Ted probably makes him wake up because he doesn't want the gorillas traipsing through the Bug. He gets up and showers with all sorts of metro products, gets out of the shower and shaves and blow-dries his hair. He uses manly products like sculpting gel to get the desired look. I'M NOT SURE but I really want to think that Booster is the kind of guy who will hang out in a towel for as long as possible, much to the chagrin of the Beetles. He is clearly not ashamed of his body. Finally when he does get dressed it's always in his uniform. I don't think the guy has any other clothes other than that and his swimsuit.
Honestly? I think it's because most people are right handed, so the character designer and/or storyboard artist used their left hand as reference on how to hold the pen, whereas their reference for swordplay was probably right-handed. But I give them props for being mostly consistent with it.
FOR HER CHARACTER, THOUGH, I will say that it enforces the non-traditional character that she embodies. That kind of silent, inadvertent going-against-the-grain. She writes, eats, draws a bow, even stands, with her fists raised, favoring her left side. The only thing she doesn't do is wear her sword/use her sword, which she does favoring her right side. But my argument with that is that my dad (who is left-handed) taught me to shoot pool. I can't shoot pool right-handed at all, so it stands to reason that if right-handed people taught her to use a sword (because she clearly didn't know how to use one before) that she could learn how to do it with her non-dominant hand.
HER MARRIAGE WILL BE SO NOT LIKE MULAN II. GAHHHHHHHH.
Basically, I don't have a concept for how it's gonna go, except it's going to be the exact opposite of Mulan II. They'll be shy and dorky at each other for awhile, and then Shang'll get up the nerve to ask her father properly, but he'll have to awkwardly run it by Mulan at some point because he doesn't want to go over her head, but it's traditional for the father to make the decision and there will be a lot of fumbling and everyone will laugh at him good naturedly and there will be much rejoicing.
And I don't think they'll have kids right away. BECAUSE SHE'S A BABY.
....A whole lot. I think that after the first few days he stopped talking to her because she made him...uncomfortable. Mostly he doesn't really understand, so he gets uncomfortable and tries to avoid her.
