did you know the Canadian dollar is worth more than the U.S. dollar now?

i've been out of the news loop a bit because I only recently got internet, still no TV, and I would just like to say, I am very, very happy by the fact that I got my first (in Euro) paycheck a couple days ago.

Yeah, it really is depressing. To think that it could never get better.

I am reading The Trial right now so I think I fully understand your feelings. I had to take a company physical the other day. It tests the relative strengths of your muscles and whether there's anything wrong with them. I failed the physical. I think because I didn't exert myself enough. I have to take it again. However, they can't tell me why I failed. It may have been because the person didn't explain the exercises correctly. I have no way of knowing how to do it better. But I have to do it anyway.

i didn't realize the canadian dollar was 'stronger' than the US dollar.

sucks to be canada, that's going to hurt them in the long run.

im glad the dollar is losing value, it's good for the country over time, and it also takes away much of the crashing risk. the US really can't handle a strong dollar, and we're lucky it's gotten weak, even luckier it's gotten weak slowly.

it only sucks for travel, especially to the UK with such a powerful currency. I don't imagine you get incredible return for your dollar in europe either. You're getting paid in euros right?
