yay!

what a convention!

the most relaxed FilkCONtinental for some years now. and what a con! our guests of honour were totally CUTE, CUDDLY, GORGEOUS and SWEET!

Wish we could have been there and it sounds fantastic. Mary Ellen and I go way back and Tim and Annie are amazing. Sue and I got ton see Tricky Pixie last year and they were amazing as well. You are in for a real treat. SJ Tucker and Betsy Tinney along with Alexander James are a power house trio. Sue and I are off to OVFF in a few weeks and we are hoping some of the Germans win a Pegasus, especially Sibylle.

What was the hint for Tricky Pixie, I wonder??? I never before have found one, but by knowing their only album almost by heart I feel like I should have found it! ;)

at the auction-section there was this circle. I showed it to you.
and then I asked Kirstin and Volker some questions about it. and she gave me a hint, that really wasn't that easy. but I mentioned it to be a Poi- or Fire-Circle. and I was right. then I heard from others, to spend much money in the auction, for the reason, that the next guests are expensive. I thought: canada or usa ? and then, with a small hint of Volker my mind made "klick" and I remembered, that Alec and one (or both) of the others of Tricky Pixie can play with the Poi.
and then I asked Kirstin, if they are three. and I saw her and Volker very VERY uncomfortable. at this moment I knew it *gg*

I so didn't get that it was meant to be poi trails, nor did I know that Tricky Pixie do Poi, but something clicked when the concom explained that it was meant to be poi-trails, and Katy said one would have to know them all well to know they do Poi, and my brain went "Tricky Pixie".
I'd ruled them out earlier in general brainstorming, because we'd had Heather before. I'm really looking forward to the threesome, from all I've heard on CD/youtube they're excellent!

And you're coming back to Grantham? Yay!!! :)
