It's been one of those years
Well this is a year I would like to have skipped. However I do this every year and I can't just skip this one.
1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
This has been a rather unmemorable year. I haven’t done anything that I would class as new. It’s been an odd year, rather like limbo.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t make any for this year. However I will be making them for next year. Well it’s more like a tdl to tick off during the year to give me motivation.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin Katie gave birth to Lola-Rose. I have only seen photos of her but she does look pretty.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, no one close to me.
5. What countries did you visit?
England (London) and Italy (Rome).
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
Confidence and a lot of it.
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
November the 3rd, for the wrong reasons. It’s the closest I’ve come to doing something stupid. I’ll never forget how close I came to it that day. There has been a slow up turn since then. Somedays it feels creepingly slow and that I am going backwards. However it’s the day I decided to try so it’s an important day to me.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I got a permanent job! Okay it’s crap and I have had so much trouble with it but it is a job that is secure and I am not worrying about money.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Can I say I failed at this year in general? I made so many plans for the year and I only achieved one which was moving out from my parents.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I lost my voice!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Apple Mac, I adore this laptop.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Miranda, who has been an awesome friend all year.
13. Whose behavior appalled and depressed you?
People. It’s been one of those years. I’ve lost faith and respect in a few people this year.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Good dvds and books!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
A Game of Thrones, I was over the moon with it.

Lullaby

Gone out more.

Brooding.

With my parents. I think it’s the most relaxing Christmas we have had in awhile.

It is a yes but I am putting it behind me now.

Dance with Dragons by George RR Martin. I have waited so many years for this book that it has to be right up there.

*ponders* I haven’t discovered any new artists or bands I haven’t listed to before. I did enjoy some new albums!

My freedom.

I was 26 and I went to work on my birthday.
