Mental health breaks are needed more and more as workplaces get more and more stressful due to cutbacks and other economic factors. When my contract ended at my last job and I was not renewed it was more of a saving grace than a negative thing... still being out of work months later isn't so great but I'm still not as down about it as I feel I should be because I was feeling terrible at work. Since being out of work I took off the weight I gained at my last job and I think I've taken off at least another 5lbs. I'm not displeased about that :)

I don't think there's often any one trigger that makes you feel that kind of need for a break. Definitely take it easy, listen to your body and as soon as you can find someone to talk to that ought to help too.

Darling you should never feel guilty about doing what you need to make your life better. Your own happiness and health should always come first. Xo
