I went to a concert! Yay!

Last night I went to see Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at the Riviera Theatre. It was rockin.' What an awesome venue! I wish I had taken pictures, because that place is so glorious in that 'falling apart but not really old building that used to be a classy place and now houses rock shows' kind of way. Did that make sense? I tried

I was supposed to be there. Sadly, my family called with an emergency and I thought I was going to have to fly back to Atlanta.
After several hours of phone calls and stress it turned out to be nothing. :-(

Aww...that's terrible! On the bright side, everything is ok with your family, right? Still, hours of stress and phone calls sucks. I've been there too many times myself.

My sister was being melodramatic.
I feel so bad, Thatiana got the tix back in April as my birthday present. I have been looking forward to it for so long.
The family is ok...well, as ok as they ever are.
It was just one more disappointment in a long long list of disappointments.
