Saw HP at midnight last night. It was the first time I've done that. Some people were dressed up, and I'm sorry, but I think that is so dorky! It's kinda cute though, My friend Ranjana dressed up, but her outfit was kinda sexy so I approved. Congrats on graduation!!! it is really sad, and surreal, that the Harry Potter series is going to be over in like 10 days. I love Imelda Staunton. I'll have to see the movie, thanks for the rec!

The director is David Yates. Have you seen the tv movie The Girl in the Cafe?? That was really good...I'm glad you thought it was really well directed

No, I didn't see that, I wasn't really interested, but I think he is a great fit for HP. way better than Cuaron, IMHO.

I have to agree with you about dressing up. I can see if it was something like Rocky Horror or what not but I will say the people who dress up for Harry Potter annoy me a little bit less than those who dress up for Star Wars. I agree Imelda was terrific, but for me Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix stole the movie, she was so fabulously evil she had me rooting for the villians.

Yeah, she was good, too, but I don't know. There was something so bitchy and "Cruella DeVil" about Imelda, I just ate it up. And I thought her outfits were so fly :D
