This is request for as much information on Antrim as all network users reading this can supply. Don't let the... filter demotivate you, as odd as providing an anonymous source with information may seem.

[Blatantly copies lines because I am lazy.]
It's a town in the Badlands. There was nothing special about it, just your average town until it quite suddenly turned into a ghost town. The first people to discover it in this state reported that there were no signs of violence, the buildings still stood undisturbed, and there was not even so much as a body left behind of the people that lived there.
No one lives there still, stories of ghosts keep people away and the place has mostly fallen to ruin.
[Filtered|Text|Unhackable] With good reason, let's face it.pink_is_bestDecember 14 2010, 10:30:04 UTC
Thank you.
[Question time!]
...Nothing special at all? How soon afterwards were the first discoveries - or , well, between the last people to leave safely and the first to discover it? Were there signs that people had just stopped in the middle of doing things, such as eating a meal, or had they just left? How often do people pass through there now? When did the ghost stories first start occurring and how fast did they spread?

Reports suggest within a couple of days at least and it appears as if everyone just went out and never came back.
Rumours of the hauntings spread soon after. It was rather big news back in the day so the stories of ghosts spread quickly. Because of that, the number of visitors is nearly non-existent. Many ships refuse to go anywhere near the place. I've visited the place myself, but I didn't see anything that might have confirmed the rumours.
I assume you've heard the transmission because there's one thing that bugs me. That place is a ghost town and no one is supposed to live there. The fact that it's nearly Long Night is also a cause for concern.

I see. Also - how long ago did this occur?
Yes, I have. I am currently under the assumption that she is one of the town's rare visitors, but that raises the question of 'Why?'. As for the Long Night... I highly doubt that the occurrence of this is unrelated to the nearing of that date. That leans more towards conjecture on my behalf, however - is it known if anybody has previously visited Antrim on that holiday?

I believe the saying is: it is better to believe there is, than to believe there isn't.
Personally though? I believe there is something there, whether or not it's ghosts is unknown. Whole towns don't disappear for no reason. Also any place left completely deserted in the Badlands is usually quickly retaken by monsters, but apparently it's not only people who avoid that place.
Your captain does realize this is likely a trap? Though it looks like the ship I'm on is headed in the same direction.

I can see your point.
...There are no monsters there at all? That... that is very bad sign, but I doubt you need me to tell you that. Thank you, however.
Yes, I have informed him of the possibility and we are in agreement that it seems rather likely. We still intend to move forward with our rescue mission, however. Is your captain aware of the same?

This is about the message that went up earlier, isn't it?

Yes, it is. The ship I am currently on is headed there on a rescue mission, but it's important that we don't go in unprepared. Hence, this post.
