When shit hits the fan in almost every aspect of being at Whitman, my friends are what makes it worth being at this place, and help me get through that crap! And it's equally wonderful to be continuing and strengthening old friendships while creating new ones as well. Without either one of those, life would be rough!

Yeah, basically the same thing. Friends who make the highs even higher and lows survivable are what makes life worth living. Did I do my homework this weekend? Maybe not. Do I have a plan for life? Not really. Does the heater in my room work consistently? No. But my voice is sore from shouting at Iacoboni's football game, my sides still hurt from a Friday night laugh fest, and a constant diet of AIM keeps me smiling throughout everything bad that happens--and through the good too. Without the friends I made here, and continue to have, I would have never have made it through Whitman. People used to tell me that I couldn't do it or that I'd never make it. People here tell me the opposite, and now I believe them.
*raises can of orange Fanta* To friends!
