If it's any consolation, there is a lot of turnover. And grad school isn't like college where you have a "year"--if anything, you'll probably spend more time with undergrads.
University of Wisconsin wanted me to know French, German, Greek, and Latin before I CAME. No Madison for me!

Wow - 4 languages?! And two of them are "dead"?! Again: wow. That's some pretty hopeful thinking on Madison's part - but you've got two of them down, so you're golden for any other school.
