I'm subscribed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Breaking News e-mails; since Vick is under contract to the Falcons, they are all over this story. There have been five Vick-related dispatches just in the last two days. The latest says one of Vick's co-defendants, who also pled not guilty yesterday and was also set for trial on 26 November, now has a plea agreement hearing on Monday.
One of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick's co-defendants has pleaded guilty to federal dogfighting conspiracy charges in a plea agreement with federal prosecutors
The two remaining co-defendants in the Michael Vick dogfighting case scheduled a plea agreement hearing, an indication that they will plead guilty and testify against Vick. Quanis L. Phillips and Purnell Peace have a hearing set for 9 a.m. Friday in U.S. District Court in Richmond, before District Judge Henry E. Hudson. Tony Taylor accepted a deal and entered a guilty plea two weeks ago to the felony charge.
