That is something I do miss seeing since we moved to the Pacific Northwest. The leaves don't really change color here. We're going to be back in Boston in 2 weeks, I really hope there is some color left for us to see, especially on our drive up to Maine for a night.
You should definitely have changing leaves in Maine by then. Not too much color here in good old Quincy yet, but things are starting a little. It's been a very dry summer though so I'm afraid it won't be as vibrant as I'd like.
Thank you for the lovely piccies ... I am waiting for our maples n birches to start changing. Some of the trees in the area turn all shades of red, roange and yellow, while others turn this blah sort of brown, though not as bad as Hell-Aye!

Hell-Aye just isn't fun in the fall! I always got kind of bummed out in October in LA. Because there were no pretty colors in the trees and no fall smells like we have here.
