Turkey Jerky
Walpole is crawling with wild turkeys. I've never seen one up close and personal until I started working here. They are everywhere. Yesterday I saw about 20 of them in someone's front yard on my way here. Then today one ran across the street in front of my car. So I'm finding myself yelling "Run turkey! Run!" There's a lot of them up here, too. It's not unusual to see a clutch of them along the highway, but they usually hang to the back roads, and larger properties.
