i'm so fucking scene
ok, so the dillinger show was off the hook, or something. really fun.
i saw max and marcus there[yay].
and THUNDERTHIGHS was there[omgwtfew].
so, like i promised, here are details and pictures. enjoy!
the first band was called the disease. they're like, a local band, or something. i'm not too sure. they were kinda... "eh."
ps: sorry i am short and tall people like to get in front of me. this is actually the worst picture i took, though, cuz after awhile, i smartened up and held the camera above my head!.
next was Read Yellow. i like read yellow, they are a decent band, and they put on an okay show. during the chick's solo in "the art," the microphone went out, or something. anyway, you couldn't hear her, which sucked a little cuz it was a good solo. but whatever.
then was..... DAUGHTERS!!!!!!! they were the whole reason i went to this show, and i was not disappointed. if anyone hasn't been to a daughters show, you should totally go. it is one of the most fun ones i have been to. the atmosphere matches the vocals, if that makes sense. just look at the pit! and the second picture is my favorite out of all the ones i took.
Planes Mistaken for Stars next. they are sorta scary looking, lol. but they have a good stage presence. if they hadn't had such a crappy place [between daughters and dillinger], i think it would have been a little bit more wild. but they have a good show. yes.
finally, DILLINGER. talk about show stealers. MAN. it was *so* crazy and oh so good. i don't have any pictures of them cuz, well, you don't exactly take pictures at a dillinger show, and i couldn't even see the band. i didn't feel like dying then, so i advoided the pit. and the pit was everywhere. so yeah.
i do have two other random pictures. which i will explain.
i accidentally took this picture. mostly cuz i can be rather stupid at times. see what had happened was, i was trying to get a really good picture of planes, and i was sitting there holding down the button, but the camera wasn't going off. so i tilted it up towards the ceiling so i could see what was going on, and such, and right as i do that it takes a picture of the lights. lol ::shrug::
