its been almost 17 years but all of this seems to be so sudden. davids leaving, 2 years is a long time but i know he'll love it and be totally obssesed with brazil and portugese when he comes back. im very very excited for him...im actually kind of jealous that hes going i never actually thought about going myself. hah yeahhh i'm starting to realize theres more to life than school, what im doing friday night, and who my friends are right now. but also you cant be too concentrated on the future or youll miss out on your life right now.

i know its not like im concentrated on the future haha i like just now realized today that there is like a future soon.. but i dont care lol i want to get out of high school...cuz things that people worry about in high school are so not things to be worried about and i dont like it lol i just want to be done with high school.

I agree. Thats why last summer I went through a wierd phase, with my mission around the corner and going to be going to college next year, it kinda freaked me out. I was talking to my brother-in-law and hes a psychologist, and he was telling me its scary but that you cant run from life, from growing up and from responsibility. He said one day he woke up and realized he was 30, and that he didnt know how he got there. It just made me realize that now is the time to get your life in order and prepare for things (saving money for your family, getting a lot out of school, being worthy, etc.)
