My head feels like it's being slowly halved by a screeching table saw. From temple to temple.

YeeeeeeeeeeOOOOOOOOOOOwwwwwwwwwwch.

I also have writing fatigue. You know (or maybe you don't), muscle aches up to the teeth from having your arms poised over a keyboard for hours. These are the aches I will gladly suffer, but this caffeine shit has got to ( Read more... )

Eek. That is one of the major reasons I stay away from caffiene and go with carbs instead. *looks down at her big ol' bowl of popcorn*

Carbs are better. They don't cause headaches. ::tells self over and over::

Ai! My mum cannot drink coffee/cola either. Me, I need an energy drink to write, - with caffeine, but carbs are better, you're right. Or those lovely drinks like Purdey's which are all herbs, vitamins and bark extract, etc, in spring water, but no caffeine. They always give me a non-caffeine boost.

I don't like coke...it rots your teeth. Tea all the way for me!!

As for the pain, I actually had to go to the doctor a couple of years ago; I'd been typing too long on a laptop keyboard and seized my arm, neck and shoulder. Now I have to have a separate keyboard attached but it is much faster and doesn't HURT : )

Actually, it's diet cola, to there's little fear of rotting teeth. I do a little better with my laptop; this desk is too high and in order to type I have to hold my arms up so they resemble that scary zombie-like configuration. ;-)
