[Dream 03] A Shadow Lurking in the Darkness
Note: Nothing, really. Just Kirby being scared to death. This post is also open for action to the peeps who live with Kirby AND Meta Knight!
Effects: Fear, mostly
The start of the dream is pretty uneventful, and almost a little bit too cheery. Kirby is just sitting somewhere next to the fountain in Espoir, drinking hot cocoa, with a scarf around his body.
Slowly, a shadowy figure starts to emerge behind him. It takes him a moment or two for him to realize what's up, but when he turns and spots the shadow behind him, he drops his cup on the soft snow, eyes wide.
The shadow gets larger and larger, until it's taking up almost all the scenery. Not sure if he can fight against that, Kirby starts running as fast as he can, but the shadow gives chase.
He runs and runs and runs... But the shadow is closing in on him.
Finally reaching the cottage where he lives, near Lake Meridian, he tries the front door, just to find it's locked. He starts hitting the door with his small hands, trying to get someone to open it for him.
"Lenalle! Allen! Flonne! Kirby outside! Let Kirby in!"
The shadow finally gets dangerously close to him, two ominous red dots glowing from it. Kirby presses his body against the door, not sure of what is going to happen next.
Then, a big mouth forms on the shadow, with sharp, menacing teeth.
And it gets closer...
And closer...
Closer...
And the closer it gets the darker the dream gets too.
When everything is pitch black a loud and somewhat sharp cry from Kirby can be heard, and the dream abruptly ends there.
[Kirby pretty much jumps from his bed, letting out a scream, but he soon covers his mouth and looks around. It's dark outside, but only because it's nighttime. There's no bad shadow out there or anything.
Letting out a sigh of relief, Kirby leans back on his pillow, looking up to the ceiling. He has no idea what that dream is all about, but he knows he isn't going to wake up so soon.]
