All good things must come to an end.

I'm watching the last Arashi no Shukudai-kun at work and I just paused it because emotions were surging and I needed to get them out of my system.

So. Why does it seem to me I'm a bit sadder than Arashi is?
At first I was a bit disappointed at Arashi being so 'cool' about an eight year period ending just like that. But I do understand that in a sense, they also wanted to have a clean new slot - they've been at it for so long, after all; going new places is only natural.

It's rather emotional for me for plenty of reasons; mostly because I cry reeeeally easily (totally Aiba-chan-esque) and things like this make me emotional. But also, mostly, because out of those 8 years, I have been an Arashi fan for almost half of it. I started liking them somewhere between my 19th and 20th birthdays, and in two months I will turn 23. I've been there for the ending of G no Arashi! and have followed SK ever since the first episode aired.

These shows were many things to me; Arashi in general was the things that initially brought lihsa and I close together, and even though she isn't a JE fan anymore, it's still something I'll always remember fondly as a very big part of our early friendship (which was replaced by watching really gay anime together, so it's all good!). I loved fangirling Arashi shows with lihsa and ellachan, it was seriously one of the best things ever. Moreover, I got introduced to this crazy fandom which was pretty much one of the best things ever. <3

For almost 4 years I've had this weekly thing to look forward to; I'm a big fan of routine so it was reassuring to have a new episode full of craziness every week. My first time in Japan I was methodically watching them right when they aired, which was a silly-ly fun experience.

In short, I'm sort of a homo but it's all good. I hope Arashi has come to terms with this decision wholeheartedly, and if so - I support them completely and wish them the best at their new show. I'll keep watching VS forever since it's awesome, but I'll miss their late-night shenanigans sm.

!random crap, tl;dr, arashi arashi for porn
