A girl that I had a Sociology class with last semester and have another one with this semester told me today that 21 days ago she had to bury her fiance (with whom she got engaged to toward the end of last Spring and I can still remember the excitement on her face when she showed all of us her ring). He was shot by someone trying to steal a car.

Wow, all that makes me do is cry, and want to have the people in my life know how deeply I care for them (especially since I don't think they understand that I do, and so deeply).
