As your MIL, I realize I say this at the risk of sounding scary (I hope I do not): I really loved this entry for many, many reasons.
Also, I am glad you like your classes and that your internship is developing into what you had hoped...that is great!
And I had much the same reaction to my special education classes (that you had/are having with your counseling class) to your regarding possible developmental disorders in children...it is a very, very frightening thing to contemplate. I understand! Remind me to tell you about the kid I saw in grad school at children's hospital in detroit. This kid was three years old...absolutely precious...and I later found out this kid had Duchesne's MS. I cried and cried and cried.
Again, it's a good thing God gives us that grace and mercy in the amount we need when we need it....
