For Valentine's Day, Dru got Ben & I's dog Gus a dipped peanut butter dog treat.  We gave it to him tonight because it was rather large and thought it might take a few days for him to eat.  We were wrong.  The bone only lasted about five minutes and this photo is the only proof we have remaining of its existence.

Our family's dog died last night in her sleep. She was old...16 actually. She had a good life, but it is still hard to let go. I am a little upset, but I am mostly worried about my dad. It's amazing how much pets become a part of a family.

I'm so glad it is not Monday anymore. Yesterday was a long day that started at 5:45am with the lose of Ben's car keys. The day ended up okay though thanks to Sammie & Kristin for giving me rides and to Ben's parents for helping us get another set of keys made. It also ended with some very exciting news for Ben...he got into a Master's program ( Read more... )

Mon. Wed. Fri.: 9:05 Sociological Theory  &  10:10 Social Psyc

Mon. & Wed.: 1-5pm Internship at Athens Regional Medical Center

Tues. & Thurs.: 11:00 Children's Literature & 3:30 Counseling & Human Development (focusing on children with chronic medical conditions & their families)

Good luck everyone who has classes starting today! I know I am in college and almost done with college for that matter, but I still get little butterflies in my stomach on the first day. So silly.
