Logan came out of surgery at about 9 PM. They reached a point where the surgeon couldn't distinguish tumor from brain stem, so they decided to stop. The surgeon estimated that he was able to remove between 50 and 75 percent of the mass, but that will be confirmed this weekend when he has a post-op MRI. He did extremely well during the procedure

I'm so sorry you didn't get the more positive news about the mass. I'm still hoping and praying for the mass to be benign and that the doctor got a ton of it out.
We're all pulling for that big win and victory party, too.

I know what you mean about being called "strong". When I lost Daniel and people called me strong, I didn't want to be called strong and didn't want that label, because that meant that was dealing with something I didn't want to deal with. Let somebody else be strong and let me happily be weak. As a mom, you have no choice to be strong. You have to be for your kid. Please know that you can vent and cry and rant and say the things you want to say to us.
I think of you and Logan always and send many prayers throughout the day.
