Logan came out of surgery at about 9 PM. They reached a point where the surgeon couldn't distinguish tumor from brain stem, so they decided to stop. This is all so much for you to take in and deal with. I hope you have people present there to talk to and lean on.
I'm so sorry you didn't get the more positive news about the mass. I'm still hoping and praying for the mass to be benign and that the doctor got a ton of it out.
We're all pulling for that big win and victory party, too.

I hate that you have to go through this and I HATE that Logan has to go through this. You're right that it isn't fair and that your child who is beautiful, loving, caring and sweet needs to endure this while asshole kids get by with not knowing how all of this feels. I get so mad when I think about it. If you had to deal with a tumor it should be benign so you can all put this all behind you.

I know what you mean about being called "strong". When I lost Daniel and people called me strong, I didn't want to be called strong and didn't want that label, because that meant that was dealing with something I didn't want to deal with. Let somebody else be strong and let me happily be weak. As a mom, you have no choice to be strong. You have to be for your kid. Please know that you can vent and cry and rant and say the things you want to say to us.

I think of you and Logan always and send many prayers throughout the day.
