The lunar eclipse was beautiful last night! I used my binoculars to see it and then my dad got out his telescipe. I'm so happy Michigan weather was not cloudy so we could see it!

This is going to sound really dumb, but every time I actually see that the moon is a sphere, and not just a disc floating in the sky, it blows my mind anew. I love astronomy.

Hee hee! I just felt like I was saying, "HAY GUISE GUES WUT TEH MON OS SFERE!"
Man... just thinking about all that stuff blows my mind... how small we are compared to the Earth, and then how small that is compare to the sun, and then how small that is compares to other stars, and then how small all of those are in their galaxies, in their clusters, in their superclusters, in the Universe... deeamn.

Yea it is crazy. To think that some people believe that the only life out there is us... is crazy. There HAS to be life on some other planet.

I loved taking my astronomy class and learning about all that. It's all so interesting.

My dad just got these wicked binoculars and my whole family was checking out the eclipse for hours. The weather couldn't have been any better! Haha, guess it could have been warmer, but still... sweeeeeet eclipse. ^_^
