The reason my journal is friends-only is because I don't want "real life people" (i.e. the people in my life who know nothing about fandom and that I didn't meet on the Internet or fandom event) to read my journal, especially considering I'll most likely bitch about them time to time.

Before you friend me, you might want to know that I am obsessed with different fandoms, and that I am prone to talk about those fandoms frequently. However, I also talk about my real life often. It's all about balance.

And for the record, I am open-minded about other ships and have friends who support other ships. So you will not read any posts from me saying that "I WILL KEEL YOU" only because you are an H/G shipper. Yes, I hate Harry/Ginny with the burning passion of a thousand STDs, but I don't feel the need to express that hate. Much, anyway. I could not care less what people ship, really. Just don't get in my face and tell me what I should ship. And for fuck's sake, don't be condescending. I SHIP WHAT I WANT whether it's canon or not. Don't tell me I'm wrong.

You should know that I cuss. Often. My entries aren't full of swearing, but I say bad words here and there. I'm also an atheist, but I don't mind if other people are religious. I am fascinated by all religions in a literary sense. However, if you're fanatical about religion, then you are likely to grate my nerves, though. Politically speaking, I am a moderate liberal, although I hardly talk about politics because I'm quite passionate about my beliefs and prefer not to get all emotional about them. I will not tolerate racism, homophobia, or any other narrow-mindedness in my LJ.

I really don't mind who reads my journal. Honestly. It's just that I want to know who reads it. That's why I ask that you leave a comment when you friend me. Please feel free to do so. I don't think I'm that interesting of a person, but I do love new friends. :)

The only times I don't always friend back are when:

You creep me out.

You rarely update your LJ.

You only use your LJ to post icons/graphics.

You post a million memes/quizzes per day. Even worse, you don't believe in lj-cuts.

You make a dozen useless LJ entries per day.

You spell so badly that I cannot understand you. Yes, I'm a fangirl, but I also try to use proper grammar to the best of my ability. And while we're at it, excessive "leet speak" also annoys the crap out of me.

I'm a lovely person. Really. Friend me? ♥

Not really adding at the moment. I mostly use my LJ for communities
