il fait CHAUD up in this city..
hiya!
so lessee, im working, which means hanging out with my dog and a lot of salvage most of the time, sometimes making energetic leaps into the real world, like sweeping or getting coffee, which after the fact takes a lot of recovering and online time to build my energy back up again. hmm. which is silly because im 21 now and should have all the energy in the world. i blame it on the fact that i keep staying up until four in the morning watching sex and the city... mmm.. indeed.. i can't help it! its like, i dont know, some weird addiction. oh well. better than crack!
21 was fun, drank fabulous champagne and wine, got drunk with my PARENTS... then went out with erin and alex for a bit to enjoy LEGAL cocktails (and all the joys of being carded, and something called a vodka collins..) and kareoke (sp?) so good times. i also got AN IPOD OHMYGOD it is black and 30gb and BEAUTIFUL AND I LOVE IT, i have to name it but it is definitly masculine, so he, lol, is the new love of my life and will probably be the most dependable and stable relationship i will be in for a long time... who says i have commitement issues.. i need to name him. vladimir? troy? bartholemieu? jerome? i've just given myself amusement for the whole day. possibly two.

i'm living in lois next year for certain. geez. lets see how that goes. i am kind of excited for school to start, although i'd like to lose the bread and cheese weight that i brought home with me from france.. this weather doesn't inspire me to run, however, so oh well. i just learned that (thinking of food) lfc is offering different mealplans! joy of joys! and also new laundry facilities! rock!
last night there was this incredible lightning show, i went down to the lake and watched it, then i watched as this line of rain hit downtown. it was so fast, it looked fake; like some bad sci-fi movie where giant lines of "evil" are on a path for some innocent unsuspecting city. it was really cool. then i realized that since it was moving SO quickly it would most likely besiege me to move it.. i got a bit wet. but it was worth it. i love storms. i still fantasize about being a stormchaser.. haha. then i watch TWISTER secretely and imagine what could be... ;)
blah. ima bit bored. someone should come play with me.
im much, much happier now ps. my last journal entries were so emo, i think i was having some kind of post-pardum issue with leaving france. heh.
