I can't believe how much we have to do in the next 4 weeks before we move! We're getting up at 5am tomorrow to catch a train to Warwick to start (and hopefully finish) our house hunt. Once we have a house sorted out, we can start doing all the other useful things like setting up a redirection and ordering change of address cards! Exciting!

I still can't believe that it's the final Harry Potter film tonight. The series has been such a massive part of my life, and although I know that it's not over (there's still the wizarding world of HP, wizard rock and fanfic!) it still feels like the end of an era!

I sold my first item in my etsy shop today! I'm so excited!

Nicky and I went for a garra rufa fish pedicure yesterday (we got a great offer on Groupon) which was awesome, although it was very tickly, and I did have to pretend that the fish were bubbles for a while to get over the weird feeling before I could watch them! I would definitely go and have more sessions with the fish, but probably not at that ( Read more... )

Nicky and I are at Mum and Nigel's at the moment, to look after their dogs whilst they go away on a fishing trip. We get a country weekend to de-stress and try to forget that we live in a noisy dirty city, and they get a couple of days away, it's win-win all round!

I'm on the train on my way to Exeter for work, for the 3rd time this week, and the 5th time in the last two weeks including one overnight stay. I'm hoping this will also be the last time!

Day 150 - I painted a t-shirt for my cousin Jonathan's birthday present, as he's turning 11 tomorrow. I used metallic gold paint, and I'm quite pleased with how it came out!
