Wholly indulgent birthdays are a little difficult when you have a Small Person to look after, who decides when he hasn't had enough personal attention he will draw on the walls... and your husband is too tired to watch a film after work so it gets postponed to Saturday... but I got some lovely presents from mum & dad, including a [real!] spider in a necklace and a gorgeous pop-up book of Narnia :) And husband was not too tired to cook a lovely birthday dinner. I got an enormous Christmas cheesecake for £8 which is going to take some eating up, so much for my attempts to lower my cholesterol :D
