I put a few more hours into it. I am bored as hell. I just don't see what the appeal of this game is. Maybe people hyped it up too much and I am just disappointed. Maybe since I am not sick of EQ2 yet I'm not ready to start a new game. I'm tempted to take it back for a refund.

Most people I know who started playing WoW play regularly with real-life friends or workmates. I think the comeraderie is the biggest thing that holds people together in MMORPGs. It's like IRC but you get to kill things. ;) If you're just going to play by yourself then MMORPGs may not be for you.

I'm about to start playing FFXI again. It is pretty fun and the game itself is cheap only 20 or 30 dollars. I'd play WoW but my computer is too shitty so I'm going for FFXI on PS2.
